Brisbane Private Schools introduces Hudson Park Primary School in Girrawheen, for all your education and learning needs.

Hudson Park Primary School is located 20 km north of Perth in the centre of the suburb of Girrawheen. It opened as Hudson Park Primary after the amalgamation of Girrawheen and Blackmore Primary Schools in 2009. It has extensive grounds with large shady trees, grassed play areas, a large grassed oval, modern playground equipment and natural vegetation. A substantial upgrade was completed in 2009 adding two new blocks including new classrooms, kindergarten, undercover area and canteen. The whole school has evaporative air cooling.

The school enrolment is approximately 320 students from Kindergarten to Year 7. The school population is multicultural with 20 percent Vietnamese and 30 percent other cultures, with 50 percent Australian born.

The academic program includes a specialist Physical Education and a music/drama program. Spanish is taught to all children in Years 3 to 7. There is an emphasis on pastoral care, inclusivity, values and teaching the students responsibility. The 'You Can Do It' program, the Five Keys Club and a school wide incentive program have helped the school gain an outstanding reputation in the District for pastoral care.

Hudson Park Primary is part of an English as a Second Language cell and has an ESL teacher and Vietnamese assistants. This allows the school to provide language and cultural support to ESL children and their families. The school also employs a Chaplain/Community Liaison Officer to support students and families across the school.

The Library Resource Centre contains networked computers, digital cameras, laptops and other electronic equipment to enable the students to utilise technology through an Information and Computer Teaching support program. It also contains an extensive range of teaching and child resources.

There is a small but active P & C, committed to assisting the school. It uses funds raised to subsidise special school events.
