At Research Primary we like to think of our school as rather special, in that whilst being on the edge of the urban area of Melbourne we are able to offer a comprehensive primary education in a community-minded and restful environment.  The school is small enough to create a caring family atmosphere, and at the same time has a large enough student enrolment to enable us to offer a wide range of specialist programs.

Research Primary School is guided by our Strategic Plan, a four year development plan which ensures that our educational programs continue to keep pace with the rapid changes taking place in modern day schools.

The important essentials of a primary school education - English, Mathematics and Physical Education are of vital importance to us, with the Arts being recognised through our active Art/Craft and Music programs. We have Japanese as our chosen Language Other Than English and we are proud of our well resourced Library.  Computers are used throughout the school at all grade levels to support the development of learning across all Essential Learnings. We believe that our school offers a stimulating curriculum which challenges children to develop their skills and knowledge in an individual way.
