Sensory Style Education offers primary school lesson plans with multi-sensory delivery options to help cater for different learning styles and to encourage deeper learning! Each plan incorporates more than just the auditory and verbal delivery options, meaning that you can reach students and children that have different predominant learning styles. By including tactile, visual, auditory, verbal, kinaesthetic, olfactory (smell) and gustation (taste) optional learning activities, the learning experience is enhanced as students retain new information more successfully when more than two senses are involved. Students who have learning difficulties or have different learning styles will be more naturally supported through these lessons, however they are ideal for any classroom. Each plan has a minimum of three senses targeted with additional ideas for including other senses in each plan. Each plan has built in time-versatility so that you can use it for a one off lesson or build the outline into a small unit of work.
