Sherbourne Primary School is located approximately 19 kms north of the Melbourne CBD in the suburb of Briar Hill, a quiet, treed residential area. The school was first established in 1971 and has around 280 students.

The school consists of junior and senior buildings, and a community hall. Within these buildings there is an art room, a swimming pool and a very successful Out of School Hours Care facility. Sherbourne Primary School was included in the Capital Works Master Planning pilot project in 2003 and the upgraded building includes new classroom teaching space, improved administration facilities and staff room, and a new larger library/multi-media centre, a new music room and multi-media /ICT centre.

Sherbourne provides a comprehensive Prep to 6 curriculum offering high quality learning programs throughout the school. The Principal, staff and school council have strived to provide a positive learning environment maximising the opportunities for all individuals to achieve and succeed.
