Seaford North Primary School is located in a quiet bay side suburb 5km from Frankston, situated in a rural setting adjoining the Wetlands.

The school is approximately 35 kilometres from Melbourne. The school was opened in 1969 and was built to service new housing estates in the area. In the late 1980's a Housing Commission area was built nearby and enrolments consequently increased to approximately 300. In recent years families have stayed on in the area and at times Prep enrolments have been lower with the overall enrolments remain around 260 to 270.
