Tyabb Primary is a vibrant, happy place for our students to learn and for our community to work together. Our diverse programs offer each child the opportunity to succeed in an ever changing world.

Established in 1891 our school has a proud history and positive relationship with the local community. With an excellent reputation in the local and wider community our school draws its enrolments from a large area including Tyabb, Somerville, Hastings, Moorooduc and further afield. We have a current enrolment of approximately 400 students spread evenly across 18 classes with 42 staff members.

Tyabb PS provides a safe and supportive community of lifelong learning where Respect, Optimism, Empathy, Integrity, Commitment and Community are highly valued by all. The school links with the community to provide a depth of extracurricular activities and leadership opportunities for students and encourages outstanding performances in the areas of academic, leadership, sport, performing arts, artistic and personal achievement.

Tyabb PS aims to actively engage students in many levels of decision making within the school community and places high value on the expertise of our teachers and the role of parents as partners in learning.
