Thomas Chirnside Primary School is a very well resourced school located in the rapidly developing City of Wyndham.  Around 55% of students enrolled at the school come from outside the local neighbourhood area.

The school is celebrating 20 Years of education in 2013. The facilities have been very well maintained and a large proportion of the buildings are new. Visitors often comment on the beautiful gardens and shady trees around the school grounds.

The school maintains strong focus on the development of high level learning in literacy and numeracy, enhanced by the use of Information Technology. The School Council sponsors a 1:1 ‘net book program’ which promotes ‘learning anywhere and anytime’. In addition every student in every classroom has access to learning through interactive smartboard technology.
