Brisbane Private Schools introduces Central Midlands Senior High School in Moora, for all your education and learning needs.
Located in Moora, only 172 kms north of Perth, Central Midlands Senior High School is a vibrant educational community, offering a wide range of academic and vocational subjects for approximately 200 students from Year 8 to Year 12.
Students at Central Midlands SHS are motivated to strive to achieve their best and to realise their potential in a values-rich environment. All students have access to innovative, flexible pathways for learning. One major attraction of the school is the small class size: a low student-to-staff ratio ensures plenty of individual attention and assistance, both in and out of the classroom.
Successful learning at Central Midlands Senior High School is achieved through the delivery of quality educational programs reflecting the phases of development and catering for individual differences. Our school plays an integral role in the local community, working collaboratively with St James Residential College co-located on the education precinct and providing 50 places for students from across the state to access our excellent educational opportunities. Strong partnerships have been brokered with local businesses to assure the continued success of our very popular Workplace Learning Program.
Testament to the determination of Central Midlands SHS staff to support students to achieve their best is the accomplishment of 100% graduation for the last seven years, placing the school second in the state on this measure. Our excellence in academic instruction was evident when, at the commencement of 2012, every student who applied for a position at university was accepted into their first choice of university.
Welcome to Central Midlands Senior High School one of the popular educators in your Moora area. Our aim is help you in your learning journey.
We endeavour to celebrate each other's uniqueness by providing opportunity for all and to develop a culture that identifies that the journey towards excellence is often paved with trial and error, risk taking, learning from mistakes, flexibility and adaptability. We believe that encouraging students to take ownership of the learning is critical in achieving the best learning outcomes and that implicit in this concept is that students learn their own areas of strength and areas of development, through useful and explicit feedback.
